The 2024 writers' festival is framed around the theme “ghosts”, which encompasses everything from discarded manuscripts to past relationships and ghosts in the machine. The task was to create a promotional poster centred around one of this years programs within the event.

The design applies a restrained colour palette and clean illustration style to convey the event’s theme while maintaining clarity and readability. Key information is prioritised through clear hierarchy and balanced composition, ensuring the artwork functions effectively across print and digital platforms as part of the festival’s marketing collateral.
